i did this in bio yr 12, some salmon farms have fish which is genetically modified by having the bovine growth hormone implanted in them, this means fish get to the size to eat quicker and therefor more fish and larger fish can be produced. Also there is a plants (i think it was a type of cotton and the name was abbreviated) that had a natural insecticide implanted in them. sorry i cant help much on the 2nd one, but the 1st one gave me full marks in my trials References :

DNA VACCINES: they take the DNA from a pathogen and introduce it in to an organism. The organism, uses that DNA to produce the antigens of a pathogen and the immune system can recognize, resulting in immunity. BASICALLY, this vaccine genitically alters your own cells to produce the pathogen’s antigen which your immune system responds to. Pretty cool. Recombinant Vector Vaccines are similar. References :
