Why it is Good to Eat Organic

Eating organic food benefits not only the individual but also the larger society and the environment. Eating organic food creates a chain of positive consequences, from consumers to farmers to monarch butterflies. This choice is about health as much as it is about sustainable development. Here are the top ten reasons why it is good to eat organic foods.

1. Organic foods taste better.

Organically grown fruits and vegetables are allowed to grow slowly. They are not forced to ripen using chemical fertilizers. As such, they have lower carbohydrate and water content, giving them a fuller taste than non-organic ones.

2. Organic foods are healthier.

A study by the Environmental Protection Agency shows that more than 60% of all herbicides and fungicides and 30% of insecticides cause cancer. Because organic foods are grown without use of fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides, organic foods are free of chemicals that are potentially harmful to the human body. Studies show that nitrates in fertilizers also significantly reduce or eliminate the amount of Vitamin C and minerals in plants. Organic foods, as such, contain higher levels of minerals such as iron, magnesium, antioxidants, and chromium.

3. Reduce exposure to pesticides

Pesticides are not entirely washed away by rainwater. A study by the Government Pesticide Residue has show that more than 40% of all harvested fruits and vegetables in non-organic farms contain pesticide residues. Pesticide residues are highest in pears (95%) and grapes (72%). Pesticide residues can create harmful effects on fertility and development of fetuses.

Organic foods are 100% pesticide-free.

4. Environment-friendly

Organic farming creates less carbon dioxide and emissions that pollute the air since it doesn’t use fertilizer and other chemical sprays.

5. Preserve wildlife and biodiversity.

Conventional farming especially those used by large-scale agri-businesses involves mono-cropping. This method results in depletion of soil nutrient and reduction of species variety. Use of pesticides and other agricultural chemicals are non-specific, and so may also kill other insects and animals. Organic farming, on the other hand, uses methods such as crop rotation and composting— methods which are basically about working with nature than against it.

6. Preserve water quality.

Pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and other harmful chemicals may runoff into streams or seep into our groundwater. Testing of groundwater in many municipalities in the US have shown that drinking water sources are positive with traces of farm chemicals. Organic farming keeps our water resources free from pollutants and nitrogen leaching.

7. Improve soil quality.

Conventional farming techniques, particularly tillage, cause soil erosion and loss of topsoil. Organic farming adopts a ”no-till” method. New crops are planted directly on crop residues. This method maintains both the structure and fertility of the soil.

8. Protect farm worker health.

Conventional farming, which involves use of fertilizers and pesticides, exposes farmers to the highest amount of harmful agricultural chemicals than any other segment of the population .

9. Organic foods are GM-free.

The effects of genetically-modified organisms are not yet fully understood, but certain studies show that GMOs are potentially harmful to humans and animals that consume them. GMOs also pose significant risks to wildlife biodiversity and to the ecosystem.

10. Organic farming expends less energy.

Processing of chemical fertilizers involves substantial amount of energy input (electricity and water). Transport of commercial chemicals from factory to store to farm requires fuel energy. Since organic farmers use natural farmers such as manure and compost, they often turn to renewable and alternative energy sources in the making of these fertilizers. These natural-fertilizers are also made or sourced within or from near the farm, giving farmers savings on transportation fuel.

Top 5 Healthiest Foods Ever

As people become more aware of the links between diet and health, more and more people are wanting to change their diet so they can lower cholesterol, lower blood pressure, lose weight, and increase their general health. But which foods are the healthiest? Which foods should you be adding to the grocery cart as you try to improve your diet?

1. Salmon. To gain the most benefits, fresh wild salmon is preferred, though canned wild salmon and fresh farm-raised salmon are also good choices. Salmon is packed with Omega 3 fatty acids, which can improve brain function as well as lower cholesterol levels. The American Heart Association recommends two servings of fish a week – it’s easy to make canned wild salmon cakes one day, and grilled or pan-seared wild salmon another day later in the week. Your brain and heart will thank you for it!

2. Olive Oil. Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the least processed of the varieties of olive oil, and has the most documented benefits, though all olive oils contain healthy fats. The anti-oxidants in olive oil are good for the health of your heart and improve cholesterol levels. Use olive oil in your salad dressings, drizzle over vegetables before roasting, dunk a crusty piece of bread in it, and cook with it in place of vegetable or corn oils. Fat carries flavor, so toss your pasta with a bit of olive oil after cooking, rather than butter or margarine, and enjoy a wonderful taste – plus, new research is showing you could be lowering your risk for cancer and diabetes.

3. Soy. Soy beans are filled with protein – the only vegetable source of all the necessary amino acids, and studies have shown that soy protein is good for your heart. Naturally filled with calcium, omega 3 fatty acids, B-vitamins, iron, and fiber, soy protein packs a nutritional wallop. Soy protein is available in a myriad of forms – soymilk and tofu are the most well known, but steamed edamame (soybean pods) are a delicious snack, and you can find many other products enriched with soy protein. Soy protein can mimic estrogen, which can lower your risk of breast cancer, but if you are participating in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, talk with your doctor before adding a lot of soy protein to your diet. Some health experts have questioned if Genetically Modified (GMO) soybeans are as healthy as non-GMO soy, so consider purchasing soy products that specify they are non-GMO.

4. Leafy Greens. Dark leafy greens such as spinach, kale, beet greens, chard, and bok choy are filled with vitamins and minerals. If you are worried about getting enough calcium for the health of your bones, dark leafy greens are a great source for calcium. Eat them raw in salads, sautéed with olive oil and garlic, or cooked in a soup or stir-fry – these delicious greens are great sources of vitamins A and C, iron, and fiber.

5. Berries. Whether you’re talking about blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, cranberries, or acai berries, they are all rich in vitamins, good for cardiovascular health, and can help with weight loss. In addition to their anti-oxidant properties, blueberries contain a compound called anthocyanin, shown to slow aging processes in the brain. Whether you serve them raw or cooked, berries contain significant amounts of vitamin C, folic acid, fiber, and are low in calories and high in flavor!

Holistic Pet Food

Holistic pet foods are considered by many to be the healthiest pet foods available today.  As the food your pet eats is a major determinant of his or her overall health, the concept of a pet food that nourishes the entire animal becomes not only understandable in light of this, but also extraordinarily important as a critical means of preventing disease.

These days, holistic claims in the pet food industry are becoming increasingly common.  Unfortunately, many companies use low-quality—even allergenic—ingredients in the products that they claim are holistic.  Many of these products use ingredients that are clearly unhealthy for your pet, including artificial additives, sugars, artificial colors and flavors, and other inferior ingredients, including so-called ‘meals’ or animal byproducts.

Although there are a few commercial options when it comes to holistic pet food products, the majority of these products contain inferior feed-grade ingredients.

Animals that are slaughtered and processed for feed-grade ingredients are treated no better than animals used for human consumption, which is to say that in most cases, these animals are raised in poor conditions (i.e., overcrowded pens and generally stressful circumstances).  Animal-based products carrying the USDA seal come from animals raised in feedlots and killed in slaughterhouses that have been inspected, albeit not on a frequent enough basis.  Here, it’s important to note that there are significant quality differences between feed-grade and human-grade produce, and such differences could determine whether some products actually stimulate allergic responses in sensitive pets.

Given that USDA certified organic ingredients are generally healthier than their conventional counterparts, the holistic claims of companies that don’t use organic ingredients in their products should be taken as dubious at best.  Most conventional pet food ingredients contain toxic pesticide or herbicide residues, hormones, antibiotics, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs).  Notably, a number of GMOs have been shown to be allergenic to humans and pets, including cats and dogs.  Moreover, long-term feeding studies have demonstrated that GMOs can cause reproductive problems in animals.

High-temperature processes, such as cooking or baking, can seriously compromise the nutritional qualities of food.  Therefore, any holistic claim attached to a pet food product that has undergone cooking or baking during its manufacture is questionable at best.  Now, there are a few legitimately holistic pet foods made from exclusively human-grade ingredients that are not processed using high heat.  Although, in many cases, these products contain the usual slurry of often low-quality premixed vitamins and minerals, at least they are more in keeping with a holistic approach.  The companies that manufacture these foods generally offer grain-free options for both dogs and cats.  And occasionally, such companies even use organic—or at least hormone- and antibiotic-free—ingredients.  But, always keep in mind that, in the absence of USDA organic certification, any holistic claims may be hard to verify.

Pet foods that are truly holistic not only do no harm; they can actually support the body’s efforts to remain fully functional.  In doing so, such foods support the animal’s overall wellbeing and happiness.

The best holistic commercial pet food choices are those products that contain USDA certified organic, human-grade ingredients and are not heat-treated, but rather fresh-frozen or gently dehydrated.

When it comes to the very best, truly holistic pet foods, among the most important first principles are: 1) avoidance of excessively refined grains and other potential allergens for dogs and cats; and 2) sufficient confidence in the inherent nutritional quality of ingredients to avoid—or at least keep to required minimum levels—any supplementation with isolated nutrients.

Frankenstein Food: Is That Really A Diet?

People are really confused about Frankenstein foods. The pharmaceutical companies and food manufacturing have kept a secret from you for the past 12 to 13 years! You and your brood have been eating genetically modified organisms, unusually known as GMO or transgenic or hereditarily engineered food! Across Britain the debate about Genetically Modified Organisms in our crops and our food becomes more heated by the day.

The FDA knows about it but has complete small to none to defend us from this billion dollar manufacturing. We have got a major weed problem on this farm and possibly we go over the same piece of five times with ground the sprayer, two times for weeds, maybe three times for weeds. Scientists from as early as the 1990s urged the food industry and the FDA, that GMO can pose a harsh health danger, particularly to young children and that extended term studies need to be done to ensure no harm is being done to humans and the environment, but to date, the FDA deliberately ignores the warnings and allows big business to use us as guinea pigs while the biotechnology industries wallet get obscenely fat!

One can quarrel that cross propagation or cross pollination has been done productively for ages, such as a new type of dog or a new breed of roses. To satisfy the labeling requirements a producer must include the words produced from genetically modified soya or produced from genetically modified maize in the list of ingredients, a footnote to the list of ingredients, or some other clear location on the product .The dissimilarity here is that customary cross propagation has been done with similar to plants or like flora and fauna to make a new breed. Genetically customized foods use unlike organisms, such as inserting a fish gene into a tomato. It is a freak of nature, a change that without proper studies, or ignored studies, can result in severe physical condition risks.

Studies contain shown that when a new gene has been introduced to a plant, the plants native genes can be altered mutated, DNA can be deleted, turned on or off, and the GM protein in the native plant that is harmless has the potential to turn out to be very toxic. You can call a dog as genetically modified fox or a cat as a genetically modified tiger. Case in summit, a study done with rats that were fed GM potatoes, they had smaller hearts, livers, kidneys, testicles and brain, a damaged immune scheme and a change in the white blood cells. If we trace the evolution of various species on this planet, genetic modification has been a natural process. More than a few rats urbanized lesions in the stomach. What is more scary is how rapidly these change start to expand.

In another learn with white mice, it was exposed that the females had important weight gain and injure to the liver and kidneys, and the males had the conflicting effect and grew to only semi the size of the females. For centuries, humans have been mixing and matching genetic materials.

A German farmer named Clocker grew GM corn on his arable farm. He fed his cows this GM corn and inside a short period of time, a dozen cows died. It was often a cross pollination of probably a Salem Mango with Alphorns Mango or a marriage of our Punjab brown wheat with white American wheat. The remaining cows developed a mysterious illness and had to be destroyed. He stopped up raising this corn.

Some pig farmers noticed that female conception rate had dropped dramatically after eating GM corn and some of the males became sterile. Present is also the possible of create allergens. So chances are, unless you are a raw or organic food consumer, you ate a GM food derivative this very day. A study was done where two plants that were not allergenic, the bean and the pea, had genes from the bean inserted into the pea, creating an allergenic plant. More than that, genetic manipulation could increase crop yield, increase its shell life and provide unlimited new varieties in taste and flavor.

You may have someone who is allergic on the way to peanuts eat a GM plant other than peanuts that may have peanut DNA and the person has an allergic reaction. It is almost impossible to determine what will trigger a response if you are eating GM foods.

According to Health Wellness and Happiness, in an article that was written by Nigel Hawkers, Science Editor for the London Times, they exposed that ladybugs had eaten aphids that had dined on hereditarily modified potatoes. The result was that even though the lady bugs did not in a straight line eat the GM potatoes, their life span was cut by 50 % and they laid fewer eggs. Being a fertilizer scientist, I am impressed with these achievements in green revolution. A comparable thing happened to the Monarch butterfly. Any guess as to why the honey bee is dying?

When the biotech industry did their own difficult, they did it on grown-up rats and mice. Thus the most serious concern now is that extensive use of Gomes can result in reduction and alteration of global genetic diversity and therefore, biodiversity. It is known through the biotech manufacturing that results would be dissimilar with young because the young use much more nutrients to construct the body as it grows, and if new allergens are introduced, then possible liver and kidney or brain injure is likely.

Because of the potential disturbance in the food DNA, you would think that GMO would be banned. Remodeling nature with genetic foods is a serious business indeed, but how serious that business is yet to be seen. Sadly, this is not the case. Money and authority is the goal here and we are just minion to the biotech manufacturing to control and make cash off of no substance what injure is being done to all of mankind.

What I find very scary is the fact that a GMO company has shaped what they call terminator seeds. Farmers, faced with a time lag between seed time and harvest and an even longer time lag between insemination and maturity, are victimized by this intolerable burden of debt. When interest rates are high and exchange rates are askew farmers started to disappear. This is where they take a native seeds and caused them to be germ-free. The reason for this can merely be so that farmers will finally have to buy merely GMO seeds from them. Think of the implication!

Award charming molecular biologist, Dr. John Fagan said, that of all technologies, hereditary engineering is particularly unsafe because of the threat of unforeseen damaging side belongings that cannot be upturned or corrected and will afflict all future generations.

A review shows that 9 out of 10 people would not buy or eat hereditarily modified foods. This is fully known by the FDA and the food manufacturing and they are not leaving to tell you anytime almost immediately that you are in fact consumption it. We are, whether we know it or not, engaged in an unpublicized struggle for survival. We simply cannot afford to let our best farmers disappear and the quality of our food to continue to decline. Unless you are eating completely organic, any processed food that contains any corn or soy product, canola oil and some rice, tomato sauces, you are almost certain to be eating hereditarily modified foods.

When GMO were at first introduced we were told that GMO crops were life form bred to create senior confrontation to insect attack, that crops could be breed to survive all types of type of weather, floods, droughts and end world hunger. If only that was the real cause, but it is not. Serious problems with our food began long before the advent of genetic experimentation, at the root of which lie economic pressures on farming.

There are more than a few outstanding books that expose GMO and the persons and companies that are silently operational in the backdrop gaining unparalleled strength and authority while filling their enormous treasury.

The Rosacea Skin Condition and Mineral Makeup

What is Rosacea?

Rosacea is a chronic skin disorder that causes redness and swelling primarily in the face. Other areas that can be affected are the scalp, neck, ears, chest, and back. Rosacea can progress from frequent flushing of the skin to persistent redness, pimples, and visible blood vessels in the face.

What type of cosmetics are recommended for a Rosacea skin condition?

Many people prefer to use natural products on their sensitive skin to prevent flair ups and treat Rosacea. Natural products are gentle on the skin and do not carry the risk of side affects. The best approach for treating Rosacea starts with using safe natural products with herbs and botanicals, rather than synthetics and chemicals. Cosmetics having synthetic ingredients are far more likely to irritate your sensitive skin. It is recommended to try a natural product for more than 3 months. You will be able to evaluate the effectiveness of the product and the number of flair ups. During this time period, take the time to journal and record flair ups, skin sensitivity, and skin appearance.

What irritating ingredients should be avoided that are found in some cosmetics?

Cosmetics that are natural mineral based or water based and oil free are highly recommended for Rosacea. However, be careful in selecting your product because the majority of mineral products on the market are still loaded with preservatives like parabens; they also use dyes and fillers. Ingredients can be evaluated at the Evironmental Working Group’s Skin Deep Report. Do your research to become knowledgeable about what ingredients are in your cosmetics and products.

Some of the ingredients to look out for that may irritate your sensitive skin:

alcohol, fragrance, menthol, talc, fragrance, petrochemical
peppermint, eucalyptus, witch, hazel, nano, GMO , gluten
parabens, dyes, bismuth, oxychloride, nut

Quality mineral based cosmetics nourish the skin with certified organic antioxidants. Some of the organic antioxidants include grape seed extract and pomegranate extract.

How do I use mineral based products?

Select a mineral based foundation that matches your skin tone and doesn’t irritate it. To cover up blemishes, apply mineral based foundation sparingly with a small tipped brush. Apply again if needed. Apply the foundation again with a larger kabuki brush. If you would like a bit more coverage, add a translucent powder/mineral veil over this. Finish with a beautiful blush. Make sure to brush, brush, brush to polish and achieve a lovely glowing complexion.

A few other tips:

Apply mineral based cosmetics over dry skin. If you use a moisturizer, allow it to dry. Mineral based cosmetics are highly concentrated and should be applied sparingly to prevent caking. Less is More. Ample brushing brings out the beautiful glow. Cosmetics with a green or yellow base are good for redness issues. Bronzers can take away reddish tones and help your make-up last longer.

Recommendation: Afterglow Cosmetics offer a quality product from San Francisco, California. The mineral based cosmetics use natural and safe ingredients. Minerals and pigments are jet milled pharmaceutical grade with certified organic botanicals.

What is Organic Chicken?

People must have heard about the nasty conditions which broiler chickens – which are bred for their meat – are raised in? These chickens have no more floor space than a sheet of A4 paper. Chickens are over-fed to reach slaughter weight in six weeks, when it would normally take four months.

Modem intensive systems of poultry production have produced cheap meat for the consumer – but at a price. Inside the intensive chicken houses, which are appearing in increasing numbers in the countryside, up to 40,000 birds are crammed, at 2 birds to the square foot, into a single windowless building, with almost continuous low levels of artificial light, they are then given drugs to speed up their rate of growth. Keeping so many animals packed together in such a stressful environment can only contribute to their rates of infection. It seems logical that the Chinese flu infections that we were seeing transmitted to humans comes from this same intensive farming. It isnt necessary to produce food in this way.

Organic farmers do a number of things to ensure that chickens are reared as naturally as possible. For starters, antibiotic growth promoters cannot be used but sick organic birds must be treated with appropriate veterinary medicine, so they can be given antibiotics if theyre very poorly. But they cannot be given drugs on a regular and routine basis, something that almost all non-organic poultry have to endure. Organic poultry is reared on a specially formulated feed containing only cereals, vegetable protein, a small amount of fish meal, and a vitamin/mineral supplement. These chickens are often guaranteed to be fed on feed which is free from genetically modified feedstuffs (GMOs). To be fully organic, chickens must be fed a diet containing grain which has been grown organically, without artificial fertilisers or sprays. Such feed is expensive, and therefore organic chicken is more expensive as well.

Also, on Soil Association registered farms, the number of chickens housed in a single shed is restricted to 1,000. A non-organic intensive chicken farm may have as many as 40,000 in the same shed. Organic birds are kept free-range, having continuous daytime access to clean pasture, except in adverse weather. Non-organic birds are almost always locked up night and day.

In addition, the Soil Association insists on full and clear labeling of processed chicken products. They are able to trace back to the farm all ingredients used in any Soil Association chicken products. Their organic certification standards state that food must undergo as little processing as is practical.

Organic standards are legally binding. All organic businesses must be licensed by law, and are fully inspected at least once a year. So if you want to see for yourself how organic animals are reared, why not visit an organic farm?

Boku Super Food Giveaway Aims to Put Potent Nutrition in the Hands of Every NaturalNews Reader

This has been in the works for a long time, and you’ll love this news: Boku Superfood, makers of my top-recommended superfood powder product, has announced an exclusive Boku Super Food giveaway that gets you a 10-day supply of this remarkable superfood at (virtually) no cost.
It’s exclusive to NaturalNews, and it’s starts right now at FreeBoku.com where you can get a 10-day supply (3.3 ounces) of Boku Super Food by paying only $4.99 for shipping and handling (non-U.S. readers pay slightly more, see the website for details).

I’m announcing this here on NaturalNews.com because Boku Super Food remains a top-notch, award-winning superfood product that you absolutely need to try (if you haven’t already). This 10-day free sample offer is the best way to get it into your hands and see how Boku Superfood can really work for you.

Just to clarify: I have no financial ties whatsoever with this company and I earn nothing from Boku Super Food product sales. As with all such product special offers you’ll see here on NaturalNews, this is an independent, non-commercial recommendation, and it’s bound to be super popular with NaturalNews readers (while it lasts, anyway).

This is no time to come up short on nutrition

Given that swine flu is coming this fall, and many people remain nutritionally depleted, I think it’s hugely important to get Boku Super Food into the hands of as many people as possible. I’m not saying it’s a cure for swine flu, because it’s never been tested for that, but it sure is a powerful immune modulator, and people who want to survive a swine flu infection need a healthy, balanced immune system response.

Don’t miss out on this one! I’ve been told there’s a quantity limit on this offer of 10,000 units. And since this 10-day supply is worth roughly $20, it’s pretty easy to guess these samples won’t last for long. (NaturalNews readers will jump on this.)

If you want to get in on this, take advantage of it right now at www.FreeBoku.com (limit one per household, I’ve been told).

Again, I have absolutely no financial ties in this deal. My only hope is that somebody will bring me some Boku on their next trip to Ecuador, as I’ve used up all my Boku!

By the way, check out the ingredient list below to see what’s in Boku… you’ll be really impressed.

How it works and why it’s free

They say there’s “no such thing as a free lunch,” right? So why is Boku Super Food giving away 10,000 units of this premium superfood product for free?
The answer, of course, is that they hope you’ll like the product and stay on their autoship program to receive a replacement bottle of Boku each month. That’s why, when you claim the free 10-day sample, you’ll need to choose an autoship option to receive a bottle of Boku Superfood every 30 days (or 60 days, or 90 days, your choice). If you find you don’t like Boku Superfood, you can cancel at any time with a simple toll-free phone call to their customer service department, with no hassles.

You can bet Boku will treat you right, because their reputation is on the line, and they know that NaturalNews readers are among the best-informed health consumers on the planet. So you can expect to be treated with a very high degree of professionalism as a customer of Boku. No funny business with them. Just a fair, honest offer on a remarkable superfood product sold directly from Boku to you.

Cost of ingredients

By the way, on that point of it being sold directly to you, I think it’s important to explain this in a bit more detail: Boku is the manufacturer and the distributor of their own product. That’s the only way their product remains anywhere close to being affordable. It might even seem expensive to some, but if you compare apples to apples (or superfoods to superfoods, as the case may be), you’ll find that this product packs value for every penny you invest in it.

If this product were sold in retail (through Whole Foods, for example), it would inevitably cost two or three times as much as what Boku offers it for directly. Yes, I know you can find cheaper superfood products in retail, but did you check the ingredients on those products? They’re often filled with soy lecithin and they’re lacking many of the really high-end, expensive superfood ingredients like blue-green algae, medicinal mushrooms or spirulina. (Boku includes all those things.)

Why Boku remains a top Health Ranger recommendation
I’ve been recommending Boku Super Food since the very first day it was introduced. This is a nutrient-dense superfood that’s just bursting with natural plant-based medicines.

It’s USDA Organic, it’s Vegan certified, it’s 100% plant-based and amazingly rich with healing nutrients. In my personal opinion, Boku Super Food is one of the best recipes of Mother Nature’s medicine ever assembled in one bottle. Check out the ingredients yourself: (http://www.bokusuperfood.com/boku/i…)

The main ingredient categories are all remarkable superfoods:

• Super greens (including microalgae superfoods and veggie superfoods)
• Maca root juice
• A blend of 14 medicinal mushrooms
• Super berry mix
• Cacao and vanilla
• Digestive enzymes and probiotics
• Himalayan pink crystal salt

Just as importantly, you’ll be impressed by what’s NOT in the formula:

• No lecithin filler
• No dairy or whey
• No artificial colors, flavors or preservatives
• No GMOs

Real health care reform = Boku Superfood

I’m going to go out on a limb here and make some personal opinion statements that the Boku Super Food company has no idea I’m about to state. But this is still a free country (?), so I’m going to state the obvious and let people figure out the rest.

In America today, we have a health care crisis. Everybody acknowledges the problem, but nobody wants to talk about real solutions. So far, the entire debate has been framed around who pays for disease.

According to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), Obama’s health care reform could cost America $1 trillion dollarsover the next ten years. That’s a lot of money… especially when we’re paying for “treatments” for diseases that are almost entirely preventable through nutrition.

What if we took just 1/10th of that money — $100 billion — and spent it on Boku Super Food instead? You can provide Boku Super Food to a person for roughly a dollar a day. The population of the USA is 300 million. So for $300 million a day, you could provide a disease-preventing superfood to everyone in the country.

Multiply $300 million a day by the number of days in a year, and you get $110 billion. For $110 billion, we could give away a full-year’s supply of Boku Super Food to every single man, woman and child in America. (Actually, the cost would be far less because at that production volume, economies of scale kick in…)

Now what would America get for its $110 billion?

How about drastic reductions in diabetes and obesity? A slashing of cancer rates and heart disease deaths? Improved school and work performance enhanced energy and improved sleep. Fewer traffic accidents (because people are more alert), fewer sick days missed from work and fewer birth defects. Fewer kids on Ritalin and ADHD drugs, too…

These things are not only possible, I believe they are likely to become reality if we could get an entire nation to take such a high-potent superfood product.

Presently, out of a $3.1 trillion federal budget (http://www.naturalnews.com/026686_d…) we are spending roughly $700 billion on disease in 2009 alone. According to new research, obesity accounts for 10 percent of our modern-day health care costs (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124…) — About $70 billion of what the government spends on sick care. Importantly, virtually all the diseases currently being treated in America are preventable with nutrition.

So if we spent $100 billion a year as an investment in free superfoods given away to the population, would that investment be worth it?

If people actually took the superfoods, I suspect that within the very first year, we’d see a twenty percent reduction in health care costs. That’s a savings of $140 billion in government funds alone, not to mention private expenditures on health care costs (which are bankrupting families).

So our initial investment of $100 billion would save us $140 in the very first year. That’s a 40% return on our investment!

And the second year would be even better: Perhaps a 30% reduction in health care costs. Over the subsequent few years, I believe we could reduce our health care costs by up to 70% through nutrition, vitamin D and exercise alone! This would save our federal government nearly $500 billion a year — half a trillion dollars!

It could all start with something like Boku Super Food. The answers to our health care reforms are literally found in a product like this. What people desperately need is good nutrition, not more chemical drugs and surgical procedures.

Of course, spending money on real nutrition is far from the minds of the corrupt politicians and FDA crooks running this nation’s health care. The idea of actually making people healthy is alien to them… they’re focused on how to keep the drug companies profitable and in charge. And doing that requires keeping the population diseased and nutritionally illiterate. That’s why companies like Boku Super Food can’t make accurate health claims about the benefits of their products, by the way: They’d go to jail even if they told you the truth. When it comes to nutrition, the truth has been outlawed.

That’s why the current health care debate will fail. I’ve written about it numerous times, and I’ve even proposed my ownHealth Revolution Petition that proposes real, meaningful health care reform where people get vouchers to spend on things like superfoods or gym memberships (www.HealthRevolutionPetition.org). That’s the true path to health care reform — by REFORMING HEALTH, not just changing who pays for disease.

Boku Super Food can be part of the big solution here. And while the U.S. government is too short-sighted to invest in the health of its population, as a private individual you can be far smarter. You can invest in your own health so that you never become a victim of the government-run sick care monopoly. And you can start by getting some Boku for virtually no cost right now at FreeBoku.com

Try it. You’ll thank me. And then you’ll thank Boku Super Food for not only making such a fantastic product, but also for making a free sample available to you right now. It’s beyond a great deal… it’s a life-changing opportunity to reform your own health care from the inside out — to take control over your health outcome and free yourself from the enslavement of the FDA and Big Pharma. Remember: The healthier you are, the less you need some government-run health care “solution.” And the way you get healthy (and stay healthy) is to put more of Mother Nature’s nutrients in your body on a daily basis.

Free Boku and free yourself.
